You are welcome to join the BACL at whatever level you choose to join. We encourage you to take an interest in Conservative politics, not just to better understand the issues the country faces but also to make a positive difference by participating at a level you are comfortable with.
Basic BACL membership does not cost a penny and can be your very first step to fulfil your political ambition. It will provide you opportunity to stay in touch, find out what is going on, build your knowledge base and understand dynamics of British Politics. You will find information flowing to you to help you make an informed decision whether you really want to get involved in real politics or you would rather support from the outside. We also send you information about our events and latest political developments. You can send us your ideas and participate in discussions about community matters through our blog.
The full BACL membership costs only £30 per year (plus £25 Conservative party membership fee) and is the gateway to an active role in British politics. We will help you to demystify local and central politics and encourage you to take a more informed view of the issues and opportunities that engaging in politics could bring to your career and businesses.
As a member you will be invited to participate in events and campaigns, share ideas and raise issues though our interactive platforms, as well as meet the role models and political champions for inspiration and training sessions. We strive not only to awaken your political ambition but also provide support and guidance at every step in your journey to a successful political career.
The student membership is free and offers an ideal opportunity for students to get engaged in real politics with almost all benefits of the full membership. Students will not be asked to pay the membership fee until they secure full time employment.
The 1000 Club, created to meet the demands from our members, offers a unique and unparalleled access to senior ministers, politicians and peers to discuss issues that affect your business or family life. Our patrons are keen to exchange ideas and experiences with a view to promote the interests of the members to those holding responsible positions in the Government and also provide access to the Conservative party for consultation and advice on issues.
